Jack Huston as Richard Harrow in Boardwalk Empire’s season 2 premiere

Great character. But his one poignant moment during this episode (as Jimmy’s wife serves breakfast: “What does it feel like to have everything?”) was a little on-the-nose. We know that Richard has been robbed of a normal life, that he’s doomed to an insensitive time and place. I prefer it when his longing is more subtle. But this shot - his secret collection of pastiched “family” portraits…my heartstrings were being pulled mad hard.
